After studying law and qualifying as a solicitor I worked in the legal profession for over 25 years then trained as a freelance proof-reader and copy editor. During a career break I also studied at the British School of Reflexology and spent two years working as a reflexologist in Devon. My homeopathy training took place at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud. Their four-year practitioner training course involved more than 900 hours of lectures, research and in-depth casework a year. As part of my professional training I completed courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology & Disease, and spent over 100 hours observing qualified homeopaths in a clinical setting. The final part of my course involved a further 18 months of clinical supervision and formal assessment. Although I was allowed to see patients and prescribe remedies, every aspect of my work was closely supervised and monitored by an experienced homeopath approved by the School. At the end of my training I was awarded the School of Homeopathy Practitioner Advanced Diploma. I am committed to Continuing Professional Development, have full insurance cover and work in accordance with a strict Code of Ethics & Practice. Although gentle, I have found the effects of homeopathic treatment to be powerful and longlasting. I do hope you will want to try it.
